This study is an absolute dream, even before the homeowner added incredible custom art and bespoke furnishings. Groin vault ceiling and paneled walls which line up perfectly with two story floor to ceiling windows. Yes Please🤍

When I scroll back through my photos, this is what I usually find… lots and lots of little things that need addressed. The final product pictures are amazing but for everyone beautiful final photo there were likely 10 to 12 “things that needed to be addressed” photos. When you’re building a custom home with human hands, not everything goes perfectly the first time. It’s punch list time 📋✔️

This life… I’m not sure 30 years ago today when Rick and I said “ I do” we would have ever imagined exactly how this life would go, but through the highs and the lows we choose to see the good and hopefully bring a little good to our community. Here’s to 30 more🤍

We are so proud of Luke Byrd finishing his Masters degree in City Planning with undergraduate degrees in Environmental Sustainability and German. We couldn’t convince him to join us at Byrd Building, but I have no doubt that he will go out into the world and do amazing things. He makes us better by example.

This kitchen turned out to be all we had planned. This vent hood was was built onsite to just our specifications. More than one (or 50) phone conversations and site visits later and it’s perfect🤍🤍
