OU ECE's Binbin Weng and OETA reporter Steve Shaw discuss the impact of Weng's National Science Foundation CAREER Award grant. Weng and his research team are working on an oil and gas production solution that would monitor and retain carbon inside the pipe thereby reducing carbon emissions and lowering the impact to the environment.

OU Researchers collaborate with NASA for Next-Gen Aerospace Solutions 04/19/2024

A team from the OU Gallogly College of Engineering has begun a partnership with scientists from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, NASA, to advance research and technological development in advanced air mobility. Team members include ECE's Mike Banad and Rockee Zhang, and CS's Golnaz Habibi from OU and He Bai from Oklahoma State University.

NIH Awards $1.9 Million Grant to University of Oklahoma for Gene Therapy Research 04/17/2024

Congratulations to ECE's Sangpil Yoon on his recently funded $1.9 million NIH grant
titled “Development of protein-based nanostructures activated by ultrasound.” Yoon and team's research into protein-based delivery systems could revolutionize how diseases are treated at the cellular level forward.

NIH Awards $1.9 Million Grant to University of Oklahoma for Gene Therapy Research Sangpil Yoon, Ph.D., in the OU School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has received a $1.9 million grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. His project focuses on creating protein-based nanostructures that can be activated by ultrasound.
