Root & Bloom Co.

So here I am sharing what has been on my heart for awhile now…🖤 I’ve been doing a lot of praying and evaluating about what really matters most in this season of my life. More & more I’m experiencing this deep sense of time moving quickly and how our time here is so short. During my morning devotion, I’ve been reading through Ecclesiastes, and the Lord keeps reminding me how much of what we chase is vanity and can leave us constantly striving. One verse has stayed with me: “Better one handful with rest than two handfuls with labor and striving after wind.”
My boys are at such special ages right now, and they are the absolute JOY of my life. Over the last several months, I’ve wrestled with what this season should look like. I’ve considered stopping homeschooling, going back to work, putting the boys in school, and a whole lot in between. But after bringing it all before the Lord, He keeps taking me back to the same thing: REST in Him and pour into my boys to the absolute BEST of my ability. I know myself well enough to know I have to make room for that. I’m finding it harder and harder to fully serve the Lord and love my family well while being on these apps. So I’ve decided to step away from social media for a while. I don’t know for how long or if I’ll ever come back. I don’t think social media is inherently bad, but it was made to be addictive and consumes my precious time.
Rest assured, Root & Bloom Co. isn’t going anywhere! I love my little business, and it has been such a blessing. My website will remain open, and you’ll still find my products locally. I’m excited to see what Root & Bloom looks like when I let go of the pressure to be online and simply move forward in obedience to what God is calling me to do.
