LAUNCH’s annual back-to-school event celebrated the start of the new school year with a giveaway of free school supply packs for local students! And, of course, no LAUNCH event would be complete without additional resources from the community, along with haircuts, art projects, music, good food, and plenty of fun!

A great big THANK YOU to our incredible team members, community sponsors, resource providers, and volunteers! This event is only possible through your generous support.

We're so excited! It's back-to-school season and we've been gearing up in support of families to give kids a strong start to the new school year!

Our annual LAUNCH Back-to-School event is Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Mason Memorial Church at 744 Goff Street, Norfolk, VA.

Register at the event for supplies for each school-aged child. Please bring your children along, as priority is given to those attending the event.

Tomorrow's the day! We're celebrating Christmas in grand style! Will you be there? Bring the children and enjoy the petting zoo, activities, lunch, gifts, holiday groceries to make a great meal, community resources, and maybe even have a visit with special visitors from the North Pole...who could it be?! 🤔

Event, activities, and giveaways are FREE. Register at the event for free children's gifts and holiday groceries. Available while supplies last to first-come, first-served. Priority is given to children who are present at the event to make sure they get something special to take home, so bring them along!🎄

Reminder: This THURSDAY at 4:00pm is our monthly 3rd Thursday Grocery Giveaway at 200 W. 28th Street, Norfolk, VA. Drive through and walk up event. Additional resources available.

Can't make it Thursday? We have another event this SATURDAY at 10:00am, 744 Goff Street, Norfolk.

Our food distributions are the 3rd Thursday and following Saturday of each month. Here are the dates, times, and locations for April through June.
