Looking for a scholarship opportunity to fund your study abroad experience? Look no further!

The U.S. Department of State’s Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program enables students of limited financial means to study or intern abroad, providing them with skills critical to our national security and economic prosperity. The Institute of International Education has administered the program since its inception in 2001.

Application Deadline is October 5th

What is an exchange program at ODU?

An exchange is when ODU and a university in another country partner and they 'exchange' a certain number of students each semester.

This is one of the most popular options for those looking to go abroad because since it's an exchange, students are essentially switching places, so your tuition will NOT change! You will pay ODU tuition no matter which exchange you decide to participate in!

Our Exchanges are offered for semester or yearlong programs!

It's fair time!!! RSVP to learn about all of the opportunities that we have for you! Speak with Alumni who went abroad and current exchange students about their experience. At the end of the fair we will have a raffle for (10) $1,000 scholarships to put towards your study abroad!
