Statement from Masjid Ansar

Masjid Ansar strongly condemns the tragic incident that occurred today at Old Dominion University. Acts of violence have no place in our community, and our hearts go out to everyone affected by this event.
We stand in solidarity with the students, faculty, and families of the ODU community during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those impacted.
As members of the Hampton Roads community, we reaffirm our commitment to peace, safety, and mutual respect for all. Masjid Ansar joins other local organizations in condemning violence and supporting efforts that bring our communities together in understanding and compassion.
May we all work together to build a safer and more united community.
