Excited to share that Connection has taken home “Best Grindhouse Short” at the Grand Rapids Comic Con Film Festival!
Huge thanks to the judges, the festival team, and everyone who’s supported this film on its journey.

Thrilled to share that Connection (directed by Tom White) and Weekend Warriors: The Resilience of Joe King (directed by Matt Burchfield) have both been selected for the MystiCon Independent Film Festival

Two very different stories — one exploring human connection through sci-fi, the other the real-life resilience of a professional wrestler — congratulations to both crews!

We’re proud to share that Connection has been officially selected to screen at the Grand Rapids Comic Con Film Festival 2025.

This film was created through the highly collaborative efforts of a dedicated cast and crew. We’re honored to see the film continue its festival journey and grateful for the recognition from the Grand Rapids Comic-Con programming team.

Excited to share that Connection will be featured in the Echoes in the Dark Short Film Showcase at the Byrd Theatre in Richmond on Saturday, October 25, 2025.

Doors open at 12:30 PM, the showcase begins at 1:00 PM, and admission is free to the public.

This showcase highlights Black filmmakers in the horror, thriller, and sci-fi genres, and we are honored to have Connection included among such powerful stories.
