A drain pipe under this office floor. When it gave out, the rust expanded enough to crack the concrete slab from below — and the floor on top started to sink.
What looked like a damaged carpet was actually a failed pipe. So that's where we went.

We broke out the affected concrete, cut and replaced the corroded section of drain line, poured the slab back, and reinstalled the carpet. From the surface, there's no trace of what happened below.
