In case you hadn't seen it here on Facebook or heard the news through a brother, the Kappa Alpha Order national office has suspended our charter effective now. On behalf of the brothers, active and alumni, we would at least like to say thank you to everyone who has offered us support and extended the branch of friendship over the years. You guys have helped shape some of the best college memories for many of our brothers, and for that we are truly grateful. Thank you to those members of the Virginia Wesleyan College administration, past and present, who have lent a hand or offered guidance over the years as well. We'd also like to acknowledge our fellow Greeks at Virginia Wesleyan and say thank you for coming out to our events over the years and supporting us in our endeavors. We're extremely sad we can no longer operate under the KA name. But we hope that if and when the time is right, Kappa Alpha Order can return to the VWC campus better than ever. Thank you all! While they may have taken our charter, they can't take away the memories and relationships built being part of such a storied organization. We're brothers to the end. Fratres usque ad aram fidelis!
