The world lost a very fine man this week. This is our go to plastics supplier Howard Everton with Norva Plastics in Norfolk. This guy was as down to Earth as one could possibly be. He was a mentor to us. He taught me how to be personable yet professional at the same time. Anything he said you could bank on as the truth. He could tell you, when you ordered, exactly when your order would ship and when you could expect it to arrive, and not once in 15 years did he ever go back on his word. If our lexan, delrin, or phenolic did arrive late, it wasn't of his doing. Prompt reliability is a virtue that is going the way of the Dodo. This gentleman and his company was and is the very definition of reliable. He will be greatly missed. The impact he had on so many lives will never be forgotten including our employees. He was a cherished figure around here even though none have ever seen him in person. When we needed anything he was always a phone call away and the conversation would end with fishing or family in mind, here latelyit was more of his retirement and coming down here to go fishing.....and when he hung up the phone there was always a clitticky clank. We'll miss you Howard. You were one of the best.
