Jordan Allen, a public affairs planner in the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command-U.S. Army Reserve Element, officially became a major during her recent promotion ceremony at the Defense Information School.
Her mentor, Marine Lt. Col. Antony Andrious, administered the oath of office.

Lt. Col. Adam Redenbaugh, a member of the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command-U.S. Army Reserve Element, completed the JECC's pistol qualification requirement at a local range in Virginia Beach last week.
The U.S. Army Reserve develops combat ready formations, maintains equipment, and trains to battle standard.

Pictured with his classmates, third row/third from the left, the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command-U.S. Army Reserve Element's Lt. Col. Christopher Nau recently completed the Humanitarian Assistance Response Training-Disaster course in Hawaii.
This course prepares students to assist foreign disaster response missions.

Capt. Jordan Allen, second row left, recently completed the Defense Information School's Joint Contingency Public Affairs Course at Fort Meade, Maryland. Allen is a member of the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command-U.S. Army Reserve Element.
This course teaches planning and integration on a joint staff in a contingency environment.

The joint force depends on the Reserve’s capabilities to project power during competition, crisis, and conflict.

Today, on Patriot Day, we honor the memory of those who were lost during the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
We should never forget the heroes who ran toward danger and the families who carry their legacy.

Members of the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command-U.S. Army Reserve Element recently completed the JECC's deployment training at the command headquarters.
They completed medical, marksmanship, and chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear training to ensure they are ready to meet any future mission.
