Race Recap ~ and I started the race, we were 10th or so off the line, before mile 20 we were in the lead, started lap 2, got just before mile 9 and got a flat. Pulled off and 2 guys that were there changed it for us. While we were down, 1 truck passed us. We were back in the race, didn’t take long for us to take the lead back. Got to mile 46 and saw the trans temp starting to climb, mile 47, we pulled off and Dez said it looked like we were out of fuel, we both said, Impossible! Got out to check, the guys who changed our flat didn’t get the jack locked down so it was slamming around and slammed into the fuel discriminator & tearing the fuel neck hose off (explained the fuel loss) and slamming into the trans cooler busting the shroud (explained the high temps) Our chase got out to us, fixing up the issues and bringing fuel. Got the truck to the pits, and the guys fueled #2011 up & looked over the truck & we did a driver/co drive change. Pops & Ethan took it from there. Next lap was pretty solid till they hit the silt, had to wait for recovery to pull them out. Then on to the last lap and bringing #2011 to a finish! 🏁 also pulled a hell of a first lap with 1hr 4min 16sec which is hella fast for a 50 mile lap! 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for the fun ! Thank you team for your time and help out there. I know it was a hot weekend but we couldn’t do this race thing with out you!

New LS is in along with the new water pump.🔥 Now #1499 is off to Nexgen to get all the rest taken care of. Big thanks to for all the help so far. You da best! 🏁

Well, last weekend didn’t go as we planned, had issues in qualifying, tried to chase down the problem, Nexgen Offroad, Cale Abramson & Ethan pulled the trans, Coello Rob & Erik Medina went and pulled 1499’s trans out at home then back to the pits to swap. Unfortunately, it was off a bit so wouldn’t seal up. Ended up having to call it. Even though it wasn’t a weekend full of race, it was a weekend full of teamwork, memories made, lots of tasty cocktails, laughs and love. Thanks to the guys who worked so hard to try and get us racing, Thanks to everyone for the kind messages, texts. #2011 will be back and ready to kick ass! Thanks for including me in all the awesome, Kevin. We’ll get the next one! 👍🏽💚🏁

Although, I didn’t get a ton of pictures, What a great race weekend! Prerunning, racing, hanging out and of course getting on the podium for that 2nd place win! 🏁💚🏆
