After installing hardened valve seats we cut a three angle valve job to the correct depth. Then we check concintricity to ensure the quality of the job. The generally accepted spec for valve seat run out is 0.001 per one inch of valve diameter. So on this 1.5” valve we should be no more than 0.0015 and this valve checks out at 0.0009! This is the type of quality we strive for on every job!
