The first step was to get all the cats that were currently in the shelter, out. The shelter is small, noisy and the cat cages were in very bad shape. Then, feral cats came in to the shelter and we had to quickly learn how to do the “TNR” process of “Trapp

Approximately 5.8 million dogs and cats enter animal shelters nationwide every year. Thanks to nationwide rescue and shelter initiatives, about 4.2 million of these animals are successfully adopted annually, providing a much-needed second chance at finding a loving forever home.
Cute face for attention. Available for adoption at the Noble Animal Welfare and Shelter.

This family is on borrowed time. All we know is that they will not be kicked out today. There are now 2 cats "at risk". "Oreo" is the white cat (pictured below).
Shoko's family will be evicted in 3 days and then they will likely be homeless! Lexington has no shelter currently, so there is nowhere for this very loving, petite young kitty to go. She needs a foster or forever home before June 19th!
Shoko has been spayed and is reportedly utd on her shots.
As always, thanks for sharing this little one home. 💗🐾
