Here are a few tips to keep your farm-fresh peonies looking beautiful for as long as possible:

✨ Trim the stems at an angle before placing them in water
✨ Use a clean vase with fresh, cool water
✨ Change the water every day
✨ Keep them out of direct sunlight and away from heat

Fun fact: peonies often change and open more each day, so your bouquet keeps getting prettier as the week goes on. It’s basically flower magic! 💕

And yes… ants on peonies are completely normal out in the field! They LOVE the sweet nectar on the buds and help the flowers open naturally. By the time your bouquet makes it to the flower cart, they’re usually long gone. 🐜🌸
