Precious Plate held their 18th Annual Golf Tournament Saturday August 11th, 2012 at Willowbrook Golf Course in Lockport, NY. Precious Plate employees as well as employees from our sister company, Precision Process all joined in the fun.

The Golf Scramble was comprised of teams of four, and included prizes, lunch, dinner and beverages. The Golf Scramble winning team included Dave Miller, V.P. of Sales and Marketing, Jeremiah Britt, Outside Sales Engineer, Craig Ryan, and Kurt Hilfinger, Production Manager.

It came down to a play-off at the end between Dave Miller’s team, and the team of Pete Gratien, Bill Axberg, Bob Britton and Greg Cimerman, as both teams tied at 4 under par. They replayed the par 3 18th hole and Craig Ryan set his team up for the Winner’s cup with a beautiful shot.

The annual contest dubbed, “Closest to the Rock”, was as challenging as ever. Richard Reese, reigning champion, once again claimed his title for the second year in a row as the person who got their ball closest to the rock.

Thanks to the Precious Plate and Precision Process Employees who came out to make the day an enjoyable one for all!

Adam was presented his award by his supervisor, Kurt Hilfinger. He has maintained perfect attendance, adheres to company policy and has an excellent work ethic, always giving 100%. He always maintains an extraordinarily good attitude and is highly motivated and willing to learn.

Adam goes above and beyond what is expected of him, is very helpful and always ready to lend a hand, showing great initiative. He is pleasant to work with and is a versatile employee. Adam deserves to be recognized for his hard work, positive attitude, and the helpfulness he has displayed. We sincerely congratulate him as our Employee of the Month.

We are pleased to celebrate the 30 year tenure of Christal Pietricone at Precious Plate. Most of her service here has been spent in various positions within the Quality Department, including Inspection, Quality Control, Quality Supervisor and Quality Manager, working her way up to be an integral part of this company.

"Perseverance, decisiveness, commitment and loyalty are qualities that Christal possesses which is what has made her a successful and important team member at Precious Plate," commented Bill Cox, Quality Director.

Precious Plate is part of a dynamic industry, and Christal is a dynamic person, always willing to jump in and get things done. She’s one of many people here who have not only chosen Precious Plate to be a place of employment, but a place in which to invest her life and career. This is an impressive milestone in that career.

Precious Plate also honored her with a 30 year service award which was presented at a special ceremony on Friday, July 20, 2012. The ceremony was conducted by Dave Miller, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, as well as Scott Law, General Manager and Vice President of Operations.

Bill was presented his award by his supervisor, Pete Gratien. He has maintained perfect attendance, adheres to company policy and always gives 100%. He follows all tasks to completion, such as the large task of qualifying Precious Plate to the ISO-14001 standard, and always maintains an extraordinarily good attitude.

Bill goes out of his way to help others, take on an additional workload when needed without complaint, and address PC Maintenance Lab issues in a very timely fashion. Bill deserves to be recognized for his hard work, positive attitude, and the selflessness he has displayed. We sincerely congratulate him as our Employee of the Month.

Precious Plate released its Customer Satisfaction Survey several months ago to gain valued feedback from our customers because customer satisfaction is our top priority. Making decisions based on our customers' feedback is important to the success of our business.

Don Forsey - the Latest Member of the Quarter Century Club,

Don Forsey has been an integral member of the Precious Plate team for 25 years. He spent his first eight years learning the ropes in production, and the next two years on the Technical Support team. After that, he joined the maintenance department for eleven years, and came full circle as a crucial, experienced member of the production team for the past 4 years.

He has also spent 15 years on the Precious Plate Safety Committee. His peers view him as very personable and easy to get along with as well as extremely knowledgeable and versatile in the types of lines he can run. He trains new employees and has been an asset to Precious Plate for 25 years. Thanks for your hard work and commitment, Don, and congratulations!!!!
