It's great to be located in beautiful Newport, Rhode Island where we can see the boats that Fair Wind Fasteners actually fastens racing around Narragansett Bay. This is the 12 metre Heritage putting on a show under the Newport Pell Bridge.

We just added solid silicon bronze serrated hex fl**ge nuts to our shelves here at Fair Wind. Manufactured specially for us, you won't find these elsewhere. The "one-way" serration will lock these nuts on tight, preventing them from backing off and negating the need for a flat or lock washer.

We love to see it! One of the best parts about supplying fasteners for boats is getting to see some of the absolute beauties that our fasteners help hold together.

Janice Wheeler is out there living her best wooden boat life, and with wooden boat life comes maintenance of course.
