dba The Reece Center) that exists mainly on donations. We have no paid staff. Everyone that works at the Center is a volunteer and gives of their time and talent for the love of helping the disabled children and adults of the Atlanta area achieve great things through interaction with horses.

Can you believe it! No rain yesterday during classes! The double rainbow on the way in told us it was going to be a wonderful day and it was!
Thank you to all our volunteers that make it happen and all the families that trust us with your children! We hope everyone has an amazing week!

Don’t look now, but Saturday is almost here! We are believing the weather people and we think the rain is going to hold off during classes! All fingers and appendages crossed!!
CLASSES ARE ON!
We’ll see you at the barn tomorrow (and don’t forget we start at 8 am and are done by noon!).
We are so grateful for all the rain! We need it! Will we still be grateful if it rains on Saturday? Yes, just not as gleeful about it!
We are watching the weather for Saturday. Keep your eyes on our page here for updates. At this time, we are still planning to have classes.
Remember, we are starting our summer semester, so classes will start at 8 am on Saturday to try and beat some heat (and maybe some rain!).
We’ll see you at the barn (or maybe on The Ark!).
On this Memorial Day, as you enjoy friends, family and freedom, we hope you take a moment to remember the men, women and animals that have all made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve that freedom!

A wonderful way to finish the spring semester! We cannot thank our volunteers enough for all their dedication, time and love!
No classes this Saturday-it’s Memorial Day weekend! Enjoy time with friends and family for the official start to summer!
Starting on May 30 we start our summer classes! Classes start at 8 am, we are done by noon (need to try and beat some heat!) and we only have classes every other Saturday!

Wednesday already? Where does the time go? Well, we are glad it is getting us closer to Saturday!
The weather this weekend is scheduled to be gorgeous! (Don’t blame us if they are wrong AGAIN!) GA DOT is rescheduling their 285 work and we are holding classes- yea for us! Terrible for driving!
So plan to join us this Saturday for our last class of the spring semester! Volunteers are appreciated to arrive at 8:30 am and we are done by 1 pm! Come get your quota of smiles in for the week!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and mothering people out there! The world is a better place with you in it!
We hope you are enjoying the beautiful weather we have had today! Mother Nature obviously took some time for herself too, because she fooled EVERYONE yesterday! Even the GA DOT canceled their plans for the work on 285 due to weather concerns. Always better safe than sorry, but we sure missed our Reece Center family!

CLASSES CANCELLED MAY 9! We are so grateful for all the rain we are getting, it is definitely helping the drought we are in. On the flip side, it can make for some not so safe riding conditions.
Due to the forecast of lots of rain and thunderstorms over the next 24-36 hours, we have made the decision to cancel classes for tomorrow. Safety of our riders, volunteers and horses is always our main concern.
We hope everyone stays dry and safe. We will see you at the barn on May 16 for our final class of the spring semester! (Always look for the rainbow! 🌈 sometimes you may see TWO!)
