Cleaning the coils on your refrigerator should be done at least once a year. This will help reduce your energy costs and it will help the refrigerator work more efficiently.

To clean your coils, pull the refrigerator out to unplug. If the coils are on the back like the photo, gently brush off the dust/debris, and then vacuum it up. If the coils are underneath, remove the bottom panel, use a soft bristle brush to gently scrape off the dirt/debris, and then vacuum it up with the wand attachment.

Did you know that cleaning your dishwasher once a month will increase the longevity of your machine? It reduces buildup of gunk and grime, which allows the dishwasher to clean your dishes more efficiently.

To clean your dishwasher, remove the filter on the bottom, clean it, and then replace it. Next, add one cup of vinegar to a dishwasher safe container. Place it on the top rack of the dishwasher. Run the dishwasher on the hottest cycle, and then if the vinegar scent is still there, run the rinse cycle.
