Green slime is one of the biggest enemies of a coin collector. Green slime, or PVC, is a chemical used to make plastics softer. So, if you want to save your valuable coins, never store them in anything made with PVC.
Beginners tip: History geeks will like collecting coins during a certain time period with historical significance. For example, you could collect all US/Country coins involved in WWII.
