Pick up a Tiny Art Kit at the Info Desk at Main or at the Town Branch after registering for our Summer Reading Program. You can also attend one of our Tiny Art Workshops taking place on 7/10 and 7/24 and we'll collect your completed canvas to be entered into the show.

Tiny canvases are due at the Library by the end of day on Wednesday, August 11.

There is still time to register for Summer Reading! Once you have registered you can come to the library to pick up a reading log and any book you’d like to read. Color in each day you read this summer and make reading a daily habit! One page, one chapter, one hour... it all counts! Turn your log in at the end of the summer for a chance to win a raffle basket. Local author and historian Anthony Musso will be presenting a one-hour presentation on research conducted into his new book "Mafia Burial Ground: The Mob and St. John's Cemetery". Yesterday was the grand opening for the Little Learners Literacy Collection! The Little Learners Literacy Collection is in collaboration with the Newburgh Armory Unity Center (NAUC) and the Orange County, NY Department of Health. The Newburgh Free Library will be offering a special collection of early literacy books at the NAUC for children ages 0-5. Join us for a new reading and play space for families with children of all abilities! At the opening event we created 28 new library cards and checked out books to new and old cardholders. The second photo features the first baby cardholder!
