Celebrate Pride Month with Charm with a screening of this iconic NYC Documentary at the library! Hosted by Hudson Valley CHARM

This documentary focuses on drag queens living in New York City and their "house" culture, which provides a sense of community and support for the performers. Groups from each house compete in elaborate balls that take cues from the world of fashion. Also touching on issues of racism and poverty, the film features interviews with a number of renowned drag queens, including Willi Ninja, Pepper LaBeija and Dorian Corey.

Artists needed! Young artists ages 14-22 are invited to collaborate with WHOOP DEE DOO to design a live variety show during the month of June.
The show will premiere on July 3rd and feature performers, artists, and community members in an immersive set on the grounds of Storm King Art Center Registration is limited, a stipend will be offered to select artists.
