Yesterday, on All Saints Day, I ended this campaign exactly where it began — in faith. Worshiping for my community reminded me why I chose to run for County Legislator: to serve with integrity, compassion, and purpose.

My campaign has never just been about politics — it’s about people. It’s about restoring faith in leadership, strengthening families, and standing up for the values that unite us.

As this journey comes to a close, I’m grateful to God for His guidance, to my family for their love, and to this community for their trust.

Its been an Amazing experience and I would like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the support, love and kindness throughout my campaign ❤️

MARCS FRIENDS INC- Standing United Against Gun Violence

Last night, I had the honor of attending MARC’S FRIENDS 5th Anniversary alongside Sheriff Paul Arteta and County Executive Steve Neuhaus. It was a powerful evening filled with love, unity, and appreciation for those who make a difference in our community.

One of the highlights for me was seeing Kevin White, our former CEO of the Boys & Girls Club, receive not one but **two well-deserved awards**. There aren’t many people I look up to, but Kevin truly embodies class, leadership, and intelligence. His speech was raw, real, and exactly what we needed to hear — that men need to step up‼️. Our community is lacking role models for young men, and as Kevin said, we must give them what they *need*, not what they *want.*

I couldn’t agree more. I look forward to working with ALL members of our local government County and City to tackle this critical issue head-on. If even one life is saved, our mission is a success. 🙌

PS Politics aside Jamika I love the work you do, I admire how you're pain became purpose 🙏🏾. You are an amazingly Strong woman and our community is blessed to have you 💛 ❤️ Thank you for all that you do.

Your organization continues to make an incredible impact—especially within the City of Newburgh through programs like SNUG, helping to create safer, stronger neighborhoods. You and your team are an invaluable asset to our community, and I’m proud to support the work you do every day.

Leadership Means Standing with the People — Not Pointing Fingers

Hardworking families, veterans, seniors, and members of our disabled community across the district are being affected as EBT and SNAP benefits are cut — and I know firsthand how this shutdown is impacting people. My own brother, a Department of Defense employee, has been without pay since it began.

This isn’t about politics — it’s about people. I stand in solidarity with every family in District 4 and call for a bipartisan resolution that puts our community first. When I’m elected, there will be no finger-pointing — only solutions that move us forward.

Mrs.McNeil is one of those great people — she’s been kind to me since the first day I met her. Political parties aside, We find common ground on being good people 🧡 I love her spirit and the good energy she brings to everyone she meets.
