From Digital Photo Academy Instructor in San Francisco, Jerry Downs, "Sometimes you drive, walk or hike for hours to find the perfect shot. Sometimes it finds you and tells you to pull over on the shoulder of the highway, get out the telephoto, brace yourself against the top of the car, look through the viewfinder and then push the shutter button like I did to get this shot of Mount Shasta. The sun lasted about a minute after I took the shot. Sometimes "IT" cuts it pretty close.-)"

HAPPY FATHERS DAY - Male swan, called cobs, protects the female, or pen, takes turns incubating the eggs while the pen feeds and helps raise the chicks called signets, often carrying them on their backs when they get tired.
