After our lambs are born they spend a few days with Mom in a pen, then before they’re released, they’re photographed, they get an ear tag, and we fill out a lamb checklist. These photos are really just for documentation, but every now and then one of them just makes me smile. This is one of those. It shows the bide a wee farm shepherd who rarely appears in photos, holding a lamb who is posing beautifully, with her mom in the lower left corner making sure her baby is okay. ❤️
