Who We Are
The main goals of Liberal Effects are: 1) To help raise funding for Progressive/Liberal causes (Who We Help). 2) To help to bring together Progressive/Liberal minded people. People who are striving for equality, justice and sustainability for all, and to help to form a sense of community among them/us. 3) To provide information, news and commentary on current issues important to people
who are socially and environmentally conscious. Topics will include: Inequality, sustainability, poverty, healthcare, veterans, education, corporate and Wall St. As many of us know greed, inequality, injustice, racism, sexism, xenophobia, etc, have grown exponentially in the US and across the globe, much of which is purposefully driven, with an underlying motivation of greed. In addition to the products offered previously, which are still sold through CafePress, Zazzle and Amazon, which we hope to be phasing out very soon, we will be adding, on a daily basis, many other products like Fair Trade items and assorted other merchandise from Progressive minded merchants and organizations. Although currently still under construction, Liberal Effects will be offering a Market Place to connect Liberal/Progressives to others as a way to buy and sell from other people who are socially concerned instead of the corporations whose only goal is greed. In other words offering a way for you, your company or non-profit organization a way to set up your own store and sell merchandise. All items will be subject to approval by Liberal Effects. Also still under construction, but you will have an opportunity to bring out the writer/blogger in you. We will be offering an easy way to set up a blog of you very own. Write and/or post articles or comics as often or as infrequently as you'd like. No deadlines. Automatic posting to social networks like Facebook, Twitter and Google+ will be available.
