Juneteenth, otherwise known for the orders made on June 19, 1865, where Major General Gordon Granger announced that all slaves in Texas are free. This new federal holiday gives an opportunity for us to celebrate and commemorate the emancipation, resilience, and culture of our ancestors who have paved the way for so many of us today.

2. Support Black-Owned businesses, organizations, and more as we work to invest back into our urban communities.
3. And continue to fight with us against the injustices that African-American people have to face everywhere.
