Vote Ricky for Newark District 3
Let's move Newark forward together!
Ricky aspires to represent District 3 by combining his current private industry experience, his public sector and educational background, and his passion for the City of Newark.
Unfortunately, this wasn’t our time. Thanks to all of my supporters who made this run possible, and I look forward to seeing what the future holds!

Some Q&A with the Newark Post to share! Check it out:
Newark council election: Ricky Nietubicz in his own words 1. What is the most important issue affecting your district in particular? How would you fix it?
Saw this Newark Post article and had to share, since it highlights yet another reason it's great to live in Newark! Huge thank-you goes out to the alert City of Newark, Delaware employee who took the time to report suspicious activity to the Newark Delaware Police Department, and a big thank-you to the NPD for taking quick action!

The best thing about door knocking is the tremendous diversity of residents you meet, and the variety of ideas that you have the opportunity to hear and refine.
One great idea that I'll pursue if elected, is to post annotated agendas immediately following each Council meeting that reflect any votes taken on each item, and the timestamp for the audio recording (already posted immediately after the meeting) so that residents could be very quickly informed as to the disposition of a particular item of interest to them.
This would only require a minimal investment of staff time to publish the annotated document at the conclusion of the meeting, and would be a fantastic resource for residents.
Can't wait to chat with more residents today!
