Children across NJ are officially on summer break, but summer vacation can look different for children and families with complex health and psychosocial care needs. Rutgers School of Nursing FXB Center Rutgers Child and Family Nurse Program (CFNP) supports children, youth, and families to receive services that promote well-being and stabilization -- services that may be even more essential during summer months. The only way to know your status is to get tested, and knowing your status is essential to ending the epidemic. FXB Center Rutgers at Rutgers School of Nursing launched a high-profile campaign, Ask for an HIV Test, which aims to increase awareness about HIV testing options and encourage consumers to normalize asking for a test during clinical visits without the fear or shame often associated with HIV.
