Award-winning actress Kathryn Grody chats with WBGO's Doug Doyle about her one-woman show running at the George Street Playhouse in New Brunswick October 16 through November 1. Grody wrote and stars in "The Unexpected 3rd: A Radical, Rollicking Rumination on the Optimism of Staying Alive". The emotional show follows the actress as she contemplates what it means to enter elderhood, and grapples with the changes that aging brings. Grody also talks about her family including Tony Award-winning actor and singer Mandy Patinkin and her late best friend Diane Keaton.

WBGO's Doug Doyle chats with pastors and authors Montell and Kristin Jordan about their new children's book "Shilo and the Not-So-Scary Girl Above His Bed". The story flips a classic childhood fear upside down by following Shilo, a little monster who is terrified of the noisy, stomping "creature" sleeping in the room above him—a little human girl. But with help from his mom, Shilo realizes that God is even bigger than his fears. Montell Jordan, who received a Grammy nomination for his 1995 #1 hit song "This Is How We Do it", is also a two-time prostate cancer survivor. The couple talks about the importance of early detection and family support. September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.
