Winter is coming. For me it’s the best time of year to do recording projects. As I’m not drawn to the warm sunny days of outdoor adventures. Rather I like to huddle up to the glow of tube amps and outboard gear. Allowing sonic melodies to warm my inner core. The recording machine well oiled, capturing talent for eternal archiving and mass consumption. I don’t take on many clients. And to be honest I don’t get asked much. Maybe it’s because I really don’t promote. I don’t because I’d rather find the great stuff or be found by great stuff. This way I can say any project of yours I’m working with will have my heart in it. It’s not about $$ here so much. It’s about producing works that all partys can be proud of.
I’m here if you need me. The studio is fully equipped. The recording chain is of very hi quality to ensure what we capture is at its best fidelity. I offer rates that can easily meet your budget. Off to The Grand Opera house for The Rock Orchestra’s performance of Genesis’ Lamb Lies Down on Broadway. You will find me in the FOH booth. Because I have the job of multitrack recording the show. One at 3 and the other at 7 . Love recording. I get to do it all day.

Finnally got around to building and installing more acoustic panels for the control room. Made of Corning’s 703 donated by a friend of mine when he was breaking down his studio. Thanks Rich!! I had done a lot of recording and mixing without any thing in the ceiling. Instantly (and obviously) I noticed a much more focused and detailed sound via the speakers. I’m excited to mix something and hear what decisions I might make. And to hear how it translates to the real world.
Yes I know I have a couple bulbs out. Didn’t have any on hand whilst I was on the ladder.
