1870s gown currently on display at the made of copper colored silk taffeta. I had to get some photos before it goes back into storage!

So pleased to share these photos from Jessica in her new 18th c gown. That green just glows in the candle light!

I am so beyond proud of this gown. Probably the most detailed one to date! It’s new home will be with a historic costume enthusiast who volunteers at Pottsgrove Manor in PA.
It’s a silk taffeta from and took 36 hours of work! I couldn’t be happier that it’s going to be loved for many years to come.

Couldn’t be more grateful for my right hand, my live-in hype man, my down-for-anything best friend, my husband.

We had a wonderful day in Dover at their Heritage Fair, and Kris wore 18th century clothes for the very first time!

Went to this weekend. There were a lot of administrative problems that made the event a little stressful, but the vendors and my fellow attendees were such a delight, and I’m so excited to get started on my brand new stack of fantasy/romance books!

I was able to make a regency gown for myself and an Indian-inspired cosplay for my husband. It’s amazing what the right people and a pretty outfit will do for morale!

Jen and the gown finally made it out of the sewing room! It turned out so beautiful, and I’m so lucky to be able to work on projects like this one. 🥰

Her husband, of course, needed a matching waistcoat!
