Curious about yoga sculpt but not quite sure how to get the most out of it? Join Christine on Sat, Feb 21 from 1-2:30p for this educational, technique-based workshop designed to help you understand how strength training complements your yoga practice and how to move with confidence, clarity and control in sculpt classes.
We’ll break down the fundamental movement patterns used in yoga sculpt, including squats, lunges, hinges, push & pull movements, so you can learn proper form, avoid common mistakes, and feel exactly which muscles should be working. You’ll also discover simple ways to make movements more or less challenging through tempo, range of motion and mindful engagement, empowering you to customize your practice to meet your body where it is each day.
The workshop concludes with a guided self-massage and release session using therapy balls to unwind tension, support recovery and leave you feeling balanced.
Perfect for anyone new to yoga sculpt, returning after a break, or looking to deepen their understanding of how to train smarter. Register with at their Queensbridge location. Link in bio.

In this episode we dive into the 3 key areas that make up our mental health. These areas of our lives are the key contributors that influence whether we feel like we’re in a good mental state or need more support.
The aspects of mental health tie into stress that we encounter on a day to day basis. Some of it experienced in temporary moments. Other stress can linger and have a lasting effect on our well being.
We’ll chat about coping mechanisms on how to better manage and overcome anything triggering that you’re dealing with at the moment. The book that I couldn’t think of at the time of recording is The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod. This helped me to prioritize healthy habits first thing in the morning to start me in a positive and calmer of mind for the day to come.
Also, if you’re looking to exercise as a way to help manage your stress but not sure where to get started, go back to episode 18 where I help you Start a Solo Strength Training Program. Side note, you don’t always need to do it alone.

Starting anything new and on your own seems a bit overwhelming. This is a big reason why my clients come to me for help. Is my form right? What muscles should I work? What equipment do I need? I get these questions a lot but hiring a personal trainer is not always an option for everyone. In this podcast I will cover various approaches to starting a strength training program, equipment to consider, and ways you can progress your fitness once you build a solid foundation.

Most of us are familiar with supplements and maybe even take one or more. Whether it comes in the form of a protein shake or probiotics, we use supplements to help balance out what we don’t consume daily through eating. But what about creatine? What is it? Do we need it? Or is it just another gimmick out there on the market so corporations can take more of our money? Listen to find out the answers to these questions and if creatine is something you feel is right for you.
