Next Wednesday, June 24th, join us on Fort Greene Park Conservancy’s Central Lawn for QUEERLY BELOVED: PRIDE SHORTS IN THE PARK—a program of the Fort Greene Park Conservancy, co-presented and co-curated with Rooftop Films, with additional support from NewFest!

NYC Pride takes center stage in this radiant evening of LGBTQIA+ short films from around the world, pulsing with self-invention, resistance, and the intimate acts of becoming and belonging. RSVP is encouraged (accessible via the link in Rooftop Films’ bio), but not required for entry.

Seating is first come, first served; attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket, foldable chair, or yoga mat. The lawn (closest entrance: Dekalb Ave/Washington Park) will open at 7 PM, and the films will start once the sun sets (~8:30 PM).

Prior to the screening, Walt Whitman Library will offer a selection of Q***r books, graphic novels, and DVDs available for checkout along with library card sign ups. There will also be over 100+ free Q***r books donated by Avon Books, Harper Voyager, Berkley Publishing Group, Grand Central Publishing, Legacy Lit, Da Capo Publishing, Tiny Reparations Books, Dutton Books, Simon & Schuster, Sourcebooks, and First Second!
