They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but this 5-pound work of art will absolutely steal your heart! Named after the brilliant artist, this spunky, almost 2-year-old Maltese/Terrier mix is ready to find her forever home. ✨ 🥥 Meet Coco (aka Picasso)!
Coco was recently surrendered to Waggytail this month. Her previous family loved her deeply, but realized they couldn't give her the lifestyle and environment she truly needed to thrive. They reached out to us hoping to find her a home where she could experience the full, vibrant life she deserves. This wonderful little companion has adjusted incredibly well to foster care, and she is now desperately looking for that special someone to form a deep, unbreakable forever bond with. 💞
As a true masterpiece, Coco comes with a wonderful collection of stellar qualities. She is a master of fetch who takes her playtime very seriously, but she is equally skilled as a professional cuddler, always ready to snuggle up after a busy day of being cute. This smart girl is already a house-training champ, proving to be fully p*e-pad trained. Plus, she’s a perfectly independent lady during the work day—she doesn't even need a crate and is content to happily nap and roam around until you get home.
Because the big outside world is still a little intimidating to her, Coco is looking for a low-key family who will patiently guide her through the basics of leash training and outdoor exploration. She would absolutely thrive with a friendly, confident dog sibling to show her the ropes!
Ready to add some color to your life with this tiny masterpiece? 🎨 Apply to adopt Coco on our website.

Meet Rosie, a svelte little tripod with stories to tell. We don’t know how she came to live in a cat colony, but a Good Samaritan saw her there with a broken leg and – fearing for her safety– scooped her up. A shelter volunteer noted in her file that Rosie was “the prettiest flower” and “the best eater” – and her foster family confirms these facts. Under 5 pounds when she arrived, she is eating 4-6 meals per day and has already gained a pound!
Tripod life is no problem for Rosie. She runs even better than she walks, is lightning fast with a wand toy, and jumps on the bed with grace. She doesn’t jump on the kitchen counter, but who would complain about that? Most importantly, you’ll never find a better cuddler. As soon as you sit or lie down, she will be on your lap, your chest, or in the crook of your arm, where she’ll stay for hours. She may even try to balance on your back while you do yoga.

Moe is proof that the quiet ones steal your heart the fastest 🖤
Moe is a 2-year-old, 11-pound Chihuahua mix from Alabama with the sweetest, gentlest soul. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give him a day or two (and maybe a little cheese, which he firmly believes should be its own food group 🧀), and you'll discover a devoted companion who never wants to leave your side.
Since arriving in NYC, Moe has adjusted beautifully to city life. He enjoys leisurely neighborhood walks, walks wonderfully on leash, and is friendly with both people and other dogs. Once he feels comfortable, he loves curling up in a warm lap, handing out kisses, and following his favorite humans from room to room.
Moe is eager to please and responds well to gentle guidance and positive reinforcement. He's still learning basic commands and continues to make steady progress with his housetraining as he builds a consistent routine. His future family will need to continue reinforcing all the great work he's already doing.
Because Moe is such a sensitive, affectionate boy, he'd thrive in a quiet to medium-energy home with patient adopters who understand that trust takes time. He could do well as a solo dog or with another calm, friendly pup. He's not much of a rough-and-tumble playmate—he'd much rather be your cozy sidekick for movie nights, weekend errands, and everything in between.
The best part about Moe? Once he lets you into his heart, he's all in. Beneath that initially shy exterior is an incredibly loving dog who forms deep bonds and offers unwavering loyalty to the people he loves.
If you're looking for a gentle companion who will happily trade kisses for cheese and be your little shadow through life's everyday moments, Moe might just be your perfect match 🐾

Two Sisters, Two Flights, Two Foster / Foster-to-Adopt Homes Needed ✈️ This week, sisters Honey and Dulce are making their way from California to the East Coast — and we're hoping to find them loving foster or foster-to-adopt homes!
🌻 Honey | 2 y/o female | 11 lbs
Arriving via flight to LGA on Saturday, June 20
Honey is bringing nothing but good vibes! Known for being exceptionally friendly with people and dogs alike, she makes friends everywhere — the park, the sidewalk, the vet's office. If you're looking for an easygoing, social companion, Honey is your girl.
🌸 Dulce | 2 y/o female | 11 lbs
Arriving via flight to JFK on Thursday, June 18
Dulce is a survivor with a story that will melt your heart. Due to her petite frame, she required an emergency C-section to survive a difficult pregnancy — and sadly, of her litter, only one puppy survived, who has since passed as well. Dulce has spent the last several weeks healing with the help of an amazing veterinary foster, and now she's ready for the soft landing she deserves: rest, gentle care, and a family to help her settle into a life of comfort and love.
The sisters entered care together and share a close bond. While they won't be fostered or adopted together, we're hoping to find families (potentially even in the same area!) who'd be open to keeping Honey and Dulce in each other's lives — because after everything they've been through, a little reunion now and then would mean the world.
Could you open your heart and home to Honey or Dulce? Reach out today to learn more about fostering these sweet girls! 💛 today

Meet Wigglesworth 🦁 9 Years Young | 13 pounds | Male | Pomeranian Mix
Wigglesworth might be pint-sized, but he has the quiet dignity and magnificent mane of a little lion. He isn't interested in roaring or causing a scene; he prefers to rule his domain with a gentle, watchful grace. He takes life entirely at his own pace, and once you’ve earned a spot in his inner circle, he’ll reward you with the subtlest, most rewarding tail wag.
This fluffy gentleman loves the simple pleasures: short royal strolls, a good meal, and long, peaceful naps tucked under a cozy chair. He isn't looking for wild adventures—he's just looking for his forever home.
Wigglesworth has made incredible strides in his foster home and is proving what a smart, polite little guy he is:
💛 He knows "come," walks nicely on a leash (with a bit of gentle encouragement), and settles happily into a cozy spot for snoozing
💛 House Trained: He uses wee pads reliably.
💛 The Ultimate Compliment: When he’s ready to bond, he will quietly bring you his favorite toy. It’s his signature, unmistakable way of saying, "You're one of my people."
💛 Independent: He has absolutely zero separation anxiety and is perfectly content to hold down the fort while you're out.
What Wigglesworth Needs:
✅ Adults Only: A calm household with no small children.
✅ A Patient Leader: An adopter who understands canine body language and fear-based behavior.
✅ Low-Key Routine: A quiet home environment without heavy foot traffic or chaotic energy.
✅ Respectful of Boundaries: Someone who will let him choose when to engage. He thrives when affection is earned, never forced.
Meet Wiggles tomorrow (6/13) at our Summer Block Pawty in NoHo from 11am - 2 pm!

Meet Lalo 🤍
Lalo is a 4-year-old, 10-pound mixed breed from Alabama with a huge personality packed into a tiny body. He's cute, bold, endlessly affectionate, and approaches life with enthusiasm. If you're doing something, Lalo wants to know what it is — and preferably be involved.
Lalo absolutely adores people. Walks aren't just exercise to him; they're social events. He's always looking for his next new friend and is convinced that everyone he meets is there to give him pets. Human connection is truly his favorite thing in the world.
He's the ultimate velcro dog and would happily spend all day by your side, whether you're working from home, running errands, or relaxing on the couch. He's also shown that he can settle overnight on his own and relax when left home alone for a few hours.
Lalo is a smart little guy who quickly learned "sit" and "down." While he loves breakfast and dinner, he's often more motivated by praise, affection, and attention than treats. He appears to be house trained, uses p*e pads overnight, and reliably goes outside during the day when taken out regularly.
As he adjusts to city life, Lalo is learning to navigate the hustle and bustle of New York. Busy streets and unfamiliar noises can sometimes feel overwhelming, and when that happens, he's happy to pause and regroup before continuing on his way.
Lalo is very interested in other dogs and is still working on appropriate dog-to-dog social skills, so thoughtful introductions with any potential canine siblings will be important.
At the end of the day, Lalo is looking for a home where he'll be a true member of the family. He thrives on companionship, loves being included in everyday life, and has so much affection to give.
If you're searching for a tiny shadow, a loyal sidekick, and a best friend who will greet every day — and every person — with excitement and love, Lalo is waiting to meet you. 🐶✨

She was found alone in an overgrown yard in San Juan, crying for help at just 4 weeks old. Now at 3 months old, Squeaky is healthy, hilarious, and completely full of life. She hasn't met a toy she doesn't like, will sprint down a hallway just for the thrill of it, and is cautiously curious about everything. She's independent, but when she decides it's cuddle time, there's nowhere else you'll want to be.
Squeaky came into the world with the odds against her and chose joy anyway. She's ready for her next chapter — and she'd love a home with another kitten or young cat to tear around with. 🧡
