On May 23, Pilots To The Rescue wrapped up an incredible two-day, four-state mission, flying 17 precious pups to safety! Seeing their tail wags and gleeful wiggles in their crates made every single mile worth it.

Meow! 🐾 Did you know that June is ?
To celebrate, Pilots To The Rescue invited the most purr-fect paw-sengers to climb aboard a recent ! Can you imagine flying with dozens of these beautiful kitties of all colors, ages, and sizes? 😻
Traveling from the warmth of Florida to the cooler climate of New England had a few of our feline friends feeling a little nervous at first. Fortunately, upon arrival, they were greeted by bright, warm sunlight that instantly made them feel safe, comfortable, and excited for their new beginnings! ☀

On May 20, National Rescue Dog Day, 18 very special pups touched down on the ultimate freedom flight thanks to Tito's Handmade Vodka, the ! From tiny puppies to gentle giants, these brave dogs were greeted by many smiling faces waving a “welcome home” sign. �
Some stepped off the plane with tails wagging and kisses ready, while others were a little unsure and needed some extra love to coax them out of their crates. But no matter how they felt when they landed, these brave dogs had officially started their journey to a brand-new life.

Remember Seeker, the rare Kemp’s Ridley sea turtle?
After fighting liver disease and spending nearly two years in a turtle rehab facility, he finally made his return to the ocean. PTTR flew Seeker to Jekyll Island, Georgia, where he swam right into the waves—AND into a bright future!

Animal transport is always a massive team effort, and this rescue mission was no exception. Earlier this week, we met 44 beautiful animals via Seuk’s Army and flew them to the safety of 🍀7🍀 different shelter partners who were ready to help them find their forever homes!

A Mother’s Day Miracle for Sophie 🐾
Every mom knows there is no such thing as a “sick day.” For mama-dog Sophie, that couldn’t have been more true.
Sophie arrived at the animal shelter in critical condition, battling two life-threatening illnesses: heartworm and parvovirus. Despite fighting for her own life, this resilient mom never stopped caring for her puppies.
The good news? Sophie received the emergency care she needed to survive and thrive!
And, all thanks to your support, her young family traded an overcrowded shelter for the Freedom Flight that they deserved—just in time for Mother’s Day!

😻 Happy ! Meet Kazumi, whose name means “harmonious beauty”.
While her name is perfectly fitting for her gentle soul and stunning black and white markings, sadly, Kazumi’s life wasn’t always so peaceful. Her past is one of being overlooked and left behind, worried that she would never find a real place to call home.
Fortunately, because supporters like YOU keep us cleared for takeoff, was already on the tarmac—ready to fly into action to save Kazumi and 84 other at-risk cats who trusted us to give them their second chance!

We fly to save lives... and this week we landed at the in Salt Lake City, Utah. What an incredible opportunity to connect with animal rescue thought leaders and advocates from across the country!
Our Founder & “Top Dog” Michael Schneider and Director of Development, Jennifer Xu were honored to present the heartbeat of the mission and how we’ve been a critical transport partner for overcrowded shelters since 2015. We also had the opportunity to learn from other inspiring pioneers in the field—and, of course, we used our breaks between sessions to seek out every cute puppy in attendance! 🐶❤️
