Gold Recovery Using Apple Cider Vinegar
In today's video, I demonstrate gold recovery from cellphone flex keypads using a solution made of apple cider vinegar, sea salt, and 3% hydrogen peroxide. It has been confirmed that this method successfully separates gold plating from gold fingers, gold-plated PCBs, and similar materials. The stripped gold can then be refined into pure gold with a small amount of aqua regia. Like white vinegar, apple cider vinegar is highly effective for gold recovery processes. Purchasing 128 ounces or a gallon of apple cider vinegar from Walmart costs only a few bucks, making this an affordable and efficient method.
