Shadow is only 7 months old. He was found as a stray, adopted, then returned to the shelter for “behavior” and ended up on the euthanasia list.
This baby was absolutely terrified and had no idea why the people he trusted had brought him back.

Shadow was found as a stray, went into a foster-to-adopt home, was adopted… and now he has been dumped back at the shelter. And because of that, he is now on the euthanasia list.
Look at his face. He is absolutely terrified. He has no idea what he did wrong or why the people he trusted brought him back. Can you blame a 7-month-old puppy for being scared, confused, or needing guidance?
Shadow does not deserve to die because someone gave up on him.
We are desperately trying to get him out, but we need help with vetting, boarding, and transport. We cannot save dogs like Shadow without donations.

Chance got his name for a reason — because he was given a second chance at life. ❤️
Chance was found in Danbury, Connecticut, tied to a tree with food and water beside him. Our amazing foster found him there, called the police, and unfortunately nothing was ever done. She couldn’t leave him behind, so she brought him home and opened her heart to him.
When Chance was found, he was painfully thin and emaciated. Trina & Friends stepped in, had him fully vetted, and gave him the care, good food, love, and safety he desperately needed. And just look at him now. 🥹❤️
Chance is approximately 2–3 years old and is currently located in Danbury, Connecticut. He is good with other dogs, very playful, incredibly gentle, food motivated, and just an all-around happy-go-lucky guy who really does not take life too seriously. 😂🐾 He has such a fun, sweet personality and is finally getting to enjoy the life he should have had all along.
He has already overcome so much, and now the only thing missing from his story is a forever family of his own.

💔 SASHA SURVIVED DISTEMPER — NOW SHE NEEDS OUR HELP 💔
We rescued Sasha from a dumping site in Cleveland, Texas. Shortly after arriving at her foster home in Houston, she became very sick and tested positive for distemper.
Sasha spent 30 days at Houston Veterinary fighting for her life — and she survived. ❤️
She is finally back with her foster, but her journey isn’t over. Sasha still needs to undergo heartworm treatment, and her medical expenses have been tremendous.
Please help us raise $1,000 toward Sasha’s continued medical care and heartworm treatment. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us closer to our goal and helps us keep fighting for this beautiful girl. 🙏🐾

🐾 MEET HOUSTON — HEADING TO DANBURY, CONNECTICUT! 🐾
Houston is an absolutely magnificent, handsome boy who is approximately 2 years old, and he is getting ready to make his way to Danbury, Connecticut in hopes of finding the forever family he deserves. ❤️
This fantastic boy has so much going for him. Houston is good with other dogs, has a wonderful personality, and is just an all-around special dog who is ready for someone to finally choose him and make him part of their family.
We do not currently know how Houston is with cats, so a cat-free home may be best unless his adopter is prepared to do slow and careful introductions.
Houston is young, beautiful, and has his whole life ahead of him. He deserves a home where he will be loved, included, exercised, spoiled, and treated like a true member of the family. He is looking for someone who understands that adoption is a lifelong commitment and is ready to give him the stability and love he deserves.

💔 KARI IS STILL WAITING FOR HER FOREVER HOME — JOHNSTOWN, NEW YORK 💔
Kari is only about 1½ to 2 years old, and she deserves to know what it feels like to truly belong to someone.
She is currently located in Johnstown, New York, waiting for the right person to see her, choose her, and make a commitment to her for life.
Kari is good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats, but we would prefer that she go to a home with no other female dogs.
She is young, beautiful, and has so much life ahead of her. What she needs now is a committed adopter who understands that adopting a dog is not something temporary. Kari needs someone who understands the breed and their needs — someone willing to give her structure, patience, exercise, consistency, training, and most importantly, time to decompress and feel safe.
She does not need to be passed around or given up on when things are not perfect right away. She needs someone who will stand by her, help her adjust, and love her through every stage of becoming part of a family.
Kari deserves stability. She deserves to feel safe. She deserves to finally know that she is home and that no one is going to leave her behind.

🐾 MEET TAGGART 🐾
Taggart is an approximately 3-year-old British Yellow Labrador, and he is currently in training with HappyGentle Dogs in Princeton, Texas.
Taggart is a medium-high drive working Lab. He was bred to do things with his person, and that is exactly what he wants. His job is to do things with you. Give him something to do together, whether that is field work, sport, hiking, training, or a long list of chores around the place, and he is all in.
He is also loving and affectionate. He wants to be with his people, and he will lean right into you the first chance he gets.
The right home for Taggart is someone who has lived with a working breed before, who enjoys having a dog alongside them for things, and who is looking for a partner rather than a dog who entertains himself. Give him structure, consistency, and something to do, and he will give you everything he has.
He has been trained with no pain, no fear, and no punishment, and he does not need any. He is smart, he is willing, and he learns fast.

💔 MAGGIE IS STILL WAITING FOR A HOME 💔
Maggie is approximately 9–10 years old and is currently at Family Pet Care in Fort Worth, Texas.
Her owner passed away, and afterward the family brought Maggie to Family Pet Care. Imagine being a senior dog, losing the only person and home you knew, and suddenly finding yourself somewhere unfamiliar with no idea why your person never came back.
Maggie is confused. Her whole world changed, and she doesn’t understand what happened.
She is good with small dogs and has lived with cats. She would do best in a home without large dogs. What Maggie needs now more than anything is a quiet, loving home where she can decompress, feel safe, and finally understand that she has not been forgotten.
Senior dogs are so often overlooked, but Maggie deserves someone to choose her. She deserves a soft bed, a peaceful home, and a person who will love her through the rest of her years.
Please don’t let Maggie continue to wait in boarding after already losing so much.

Helena is only about 1 year old and was sadly owner surrendered. We saw the sadness in her eyes when she was left behind, and we knew we had to do everything we could to help her.
There was a lot of work happening behind the scenes to make her rescue possible, but today we can finally say the words we were waiting for:
