Why are all these strange groups and people following this Veterans Page?? Something is not right right!!

Hope this note finds you and your families all well, safe and healthy!!

Please be advised that the United Veterans Memorial and Patriotic Association of New Rochelle with VFW Post 439 and American Legion Post 8 will be conducting our Decoration of Graves Service and Ceremony on SUNDAY May 26, 2024 10 am at Beechwood Cemetery.

Service will begin promptly at 10am near the Front Gate Flagpole. We will be distributing aprox 3,000 flags. All to be placed at the Veterans Graves in both , Beechwood and Holy Sepulchre Cemeteries.

ALSO!!!!! Monday May 27 11am Am Legion Post 8 (112 North Ave) will be holding their Memorial Day Service followed by a afternoon of Live Music and BBQ.. all are welcome to attend. .

Please come out and join the United Veterans of NR as we pay honor and remembrance to our brothers and sisters lost on and because of Sept 11. We have placed 3001 flags on the lawn of City Hall (w/ur help!) and this Sat eve (9-11) at 7:30PM we will host a Candlelight Vigil and Inter Faith Prayer Service on the front steps of City Hall. All are welcome and encouraged to come to this moving and meaningful community event. Hope to see you there.

As we wake up on this Monday morning May 31, 2021 IT IS MEMORIAL DAY....let us all take a moment to think about all those who have lay down their life so ours may continue in freedom. Freedom of speech, freedom of religion , freedom to assemble, the right to bear arms. Many more freedoms are bestowed on us that we take for granted every day. We are the freest nation in the world thanks to the millions of men and women who have sacrificed their life. God bless our military God bless all those who have served God bless the sons and daughters of the United States of America

The United Veterans Memorial and Patriotic Association of NR, the American Legion Post 8 and the Veterans of Foreign War Post 439 will be conducting our annual Memorial Day services on Sunday morning 10 AM at Beechwood cemetery is the replacement of the grave flags. After a brief ceremony we will ask volunteers to scatter the two cemeteries holy sepulcher and Beachwood to replace the flags of all the veterans that are buried in NR

On Memorial Day Monday, May 31st again the United Veterans, American Legion Post 8 and the VFW post 439 will be hosting our memorial day service at the American Legion Hall located at 112 North Ave. at 11 AM. Followed by a afternoon with our New Rochelle Vets. Please join us for a free barbecue and live music from NR’s own band- UNDERCOVER!!

I collect toys until Dec 20. Ty for your support!! All toys collected will go directly to children in foster care within Westchester County social services.... big thank you to all!! Last year we collected 519 toys!!!!! Went to 290 children who might not have received anything for Christmas without ur donation!!!! Merry Christmas
