On this Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice has safeguarded the freedoms we hold dear.

We are deeply grateful to all who have served and to those who continue to carry forward the legacy of duty, courage, and commitment.

Today and every day, we remember. We reflect. We honor.

Here at Coopers Corner gardening is important to us as it is part of the legacy of the land we are on as there was a family owned garden center here for decades. Today, a group of Ursuline High School Seniors spent the morning with us for their “Make a Difference Day”. They helped to plant our in ground vegetable and flower garden. 🪴 We planted 12 tomato plants, basil, cucumbers, eggplant, gladiolus, and a lot of marigolds!Afterwards we enjoyed playing games together, some learning how to play our favorite game Rummikub thanks to Helen, one of our residents. It was a wonderful morning. Thank you to all of our Ursuline volunteers and best of luck to you in college! Stop by for some pesto later in the summer!

It is National Pizza Party Day! Residents made personal pizzas and enjoyed them for lunch. Pepperoni was pretty popular.
