Iona Biology students Avia Willis, Nancy Kwelio, Isaiah Vargas, and Gregory Maier accompanied Drs. Shopon Mollah and David Zuckerman at the NY-BIG conference. This conference was hosted by NYU and Columbia University to listen to presentations on the latest in microbiology research!

Highlights from the final session of The Equity Collective for the academic year. Students heard from leaders at Lazard Assest Management, toured their beautiful offices at 30 Rock, and enjoyed a networking lunch!

Some highlights from the Pipe Band marching in the New York City Saint Patrick’s Day Parade!! ☘️🇮🇪

New York State Trooper Senior Investigator, Jonathan Sanchez ’08, coordinated a series of three presentations for students, faculty, and staff. The first presentation, held on March 10th, featured the Forensic Investigation Unit, Patrol Troopers, and the Bureau of Criminal Investigations, who shared insights into their roles in law enforcement and community service. The series will continue on March 24th with presentations by the K-9 and SORT units, followed by the Drone and Aviation units on March 31st. All sessions will take place during activity period in the Henry Lecture Hall in the LaPenta School of Business.

Congratulations to the Iona Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field teams for competing at the MAAC Indoor Championships! The Men’s team placed second and the Women’s team placed fifth. Go Gaels! 🏃‍♀️🏆🏃‍♂️
