Day 3 recap Drop the Hammer
They ran a bit of tighter schedule today. We were pretty well out of any place in the DYO standings, so we just had a couple fun passes (yes, I still tried to get a tighter spread)!
We did however get into the "close 8" shootout! Won the first round... heads up against an 8.4x.
Lost second round to a 7.4x car.
We learned a bit more for sure about this new set up, and there some room left to improve! Our next big event will be Sick The Magazine Sick Michigan Miles in August.
I couldn't do any of this without my navigator/support/passenger princess/fabulous wife Nikki by my side!!

Day 2 recap!
Well... she started consistent 🤣🤣
Given time to cool off, she picked up right back into the .40's! Ran 2 back to back trying to get my DYO average a little tighter, shut her down about 600' and was still under the .56. We're happy where we're at currently. Gonna pack up and hit the road! Catch y'all a little later.

Day 1 Drop the Hammer recap!
Well... we smoked the alternator on the way back from dinner last night (day 0)! So that swap was the first order of the day after arriving at the track. Worried we might miss the opportunity to make a pass Chris TooSlo Eightysix Lee brought a spare and saved the day for us! Luckily, O'Reilly in Greenville had us a new unit just after noon... big thanks to Chris on that too!
She's a tad off pace with the heat and head wind today running solid 7.56 back to back (1/8 mile). Better gas and hopefully pick back up tomorrow! But... we chose Dial Your Own for our class, so we'll try to keep one as close to that .56 as we can to win a little something.
