Teacher Appreciation Week is a special time for us to recognize the incredible teachers who guide, support, and inspire our students every day. Their kindness, patience, and dedication help shape not only strong learners, but confident and caring individuals. This week, we take a moment to say extra thank you’s for all the hard work, love, and encouragement they give all year long.

Last Friday, our students took a meaningful stand against bullying by pledging to use their voices for themselves and others. Throughout the week, they engaged in scenarios that helped them learn how to respond with confidence and kindness in difficult situations. We ended the week with a peaceful protest on Friday, where students proudly demonstrated their commitment to speaking up and creating a safe, supportive community for everyone.

Our students are proudly participating in Denim Day as a way to stand up, use their voices, and support one another. Throughout the week, they have been learning what it means to be an upstander—someone who speaks up, shows kindness, and takes action when something isn’t right.
We’ve been having important conversations about respect and boundaries, including understanding that when someone says “no” or “stop,” we listen and honor their words.
This Friday, our students will come together for a peaceful protest as a symbol of unity, respect, and courage. During this time, they will also take a special pledge to be upstanders in our school and community.
We are so proud of our students for learning to lead with empathy, respect, and bravery.
