Nature Coast Landscape Services Christmas party was a huge sucess. Thank you to all our clients and employess for a great 2023. We wish you all a safe and happy Christmas.

We had a ton of fun today and the entire staff had a blast.

The calm before the storm. Nature Coast Landscape Services is prepared and ready to assist our clients should the need arise.

Part of the day was spend making sure all our trucks, trailers and arbor equipment are fueled and ready to mobilize to our communities.

Hurricane Idalia is set to be in our area Tuesday night thru Wednesday. We hope everyone is safe and we pray for our neighbors to the north. Cedar Key, Steinhatchee, and Big Bend Areas are in the path for major Hurricane condtions.

Good morning to all our employees, family, clients and friends. Please pay close attention to the track of Tropical Storm Idalia.

Latest update has the storm becoming a category 3 storm in the gulf. Current track has it landing just north of Tampa Bay. Our crews will be working today and most likely resting tomorrow this way they can make preparations for their homes and family. We will be busy making preparations tomorrow AM to make sure all our dump trucks, loaders and tree related equipment is ready should we need to mobilize to our communities.

We will have our cell phones available should anyone has any emergencies. I hope everyone is making preparations as the next few days will bring plenty of rain and wind to the area.

WHAT...Heat index values up to 110 expected.

WHERE...All of southwest and west central Florida.

WHEN...From 11 AM to 7 PM EDT Friday.

IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses to occur.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances.

Take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. When possible reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing when possible. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an emergency! Call 9 1 1.

Join me too congratulate Halli Mattas our Arbor Care Manager. Halli has successfully passed the state exam for the International Society of Arboriculture Certification. Halli is now a Certified Arborist, and we are very proud of her and her efforts.

Today Nature Coast Landscape Services added to our mowing fleet one of the industry biggest machine. A Wide Area Exmark 96 inch Diesel Power mower. Each pass is 8ft wide with great ground speed.

Summer 2023 and Nature Coast is ready! Friday we spend time doing final summer prep, maintenance on equipment, schedules, and making sure all the new crews have all the tools and equipment ready for the summer.
