In memory of John Kubek, proceeds go towards the YMCA of the Suncoast LIVESTRONG program It has now become much more than that.
The Drive Away Golf Outing started last year as my senior project for Mitchell HS. This outing is now a way to keep the memory of my grandfather, John Kubek, alive. He was one of the most amazing people I knew. He died of stage four cancer in his bones, liver and lungs. In 2011 my mother was diagnosed with stage one breast cancer.
