Now it's time to focus on Momma "Prunella" to find her a forever home that is all about her and not the puppies she can make for everyone else!

Memorial Day 2026.

💖🐾When the plea first came out from our local shelter about a young momma dog an d her tiny 4-5 week old nursing puppies trying to escape a bad situation, we waited. We hoped another rescue would step up for this beautiful little family. 🐾💖

And we waited.

Then we got the call we were dreading. No one had come for them. Worse yet — the babies and momma were now very sick and urgently needed help. So naturally… we loaded up the chaos-mobile and went to get them.

Meet Prunella and her band of tiny gremlins.

This sweet little family is currently battling a nasty upper respiratory infection along with enough intestinal parasites to make all of us want to bathe in bleach and never eat spaghetti again. Despite feeling absolutely terrible, every single one of them has been unbelievably sweet, cuddly, and trusting. Honestly rude behavior considering humans have not exactly been winning any cookies lately in their department.

Prunella is now safe in a nursery foster home where she can finally focus on being a mom instead of surviving, and everyone has started much needed medical treatment and supportive care. But treating a family of FIVE sick dogs is expensive fast — exams, medications, deworming, supportive care, supplies, special food… it adds up quicker than these puppies can scream for snacks.

Meet Reedus – 8 years old, built like a brick house, walks like a retired cowboy, and somehow still manages to be the softest thing in the room.

Yeah, he’s got the grey face. Yeah, the bow legs are bow-legging. And? That “old man” look is just a disguise for one of the goofiest, most ridiculously lovable meatheads you will ever meet. That smile? It’s not just a smile—it’s a full-blown personality trait.

Reedus is the definition of don’t judge a book by its cover. This is a muscle-bound bully who will gently mother kittens, proudly accept the title of “momma’s boy,” and absolutely rock a flower crown like he invented fashion. You want tough? He’s tough enough to not care what anyone thinks while he’s busy saving baby kittens and demanding belly rubs.

He loves his dog friends, enjoys a good romp, and is always down for a car ride—but let’s be honest, his soulmate activity is you + Netflix + his head in your lap. If you stop petting him, he will absolutely remind you that you made a commitment.

No crate. No training drama. No nonsense. He’s a fully formed, plug-and-play best friend who already knows how to exist like a civilized gentleman… with a heavy side of goofy chaos.
