💚 LIVER CANCER AWARENESS 💚
Liver cancer can affect individuals and families in ways that go far beyond a diagnosis.
In 2026, an estimated 42,340 people in the United States will be diagnosed with primary liver cancer and intrahepatic bile duct cancer, with nearly 31,000 deaths expected.
Liver cancer can be difficult to detect early, and knowing the signs, understanding risk factors, and talking with your healthcare provider about your individual health are important.
💚 This month, let's:
• Spread awareness
• Encourage people to learn about liver health
• Support those facing cancer
• Stand beside caregivers and families
• Remember those we've lost
• Give hope to those still fighting
At the National Cancer Support Foundation, our mission is to support children battling cancer and their families. We know that a cancer diagnosis can affect an entire family, and no family should have to feel alone.
💚 Raise awareness. Spread hope. Support families.
Please share this post to help us spread the word.

💛 SEPTEMBER IS CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS MONTH 💛
Every child deserves the chance to grow up, dream big, laugh, play, and make memories. But for children battling cancer, childhood can look very different.
This month, we stand with every child fighting cancer and every family walking beside them. 🎗️
Childhood cancer affects the entire family—emotionally, physically, and financially. No family should have to face this journey alone.
At the National Cancer Support Foundation, we are committed to supporting children with cancer and their families by helping provide resources and assistance during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
💛 Support a child. Support a family. Make a difference.
Please help us spread awareness this September by sharing this post, starting a conversation, and supporting children battling cancer.

🎗️ August is World Cancer Support Month 💛
Cancer affects more than just the child receiving a diagnosis — it impacts the entire family.
This month, we recognize the children bravely fighting cancer and the parents, siblings, caregivers, and loved ones standing beside them every step of the way.
At the National Cancer Support Foundation, we believe families should not have to face the financial and emotional challenges of childhood cancer alone. We are committed to helping families with hardships such as food, gas, care packages, and compassionate support during one of the most difficult times of their lives.
💛 Every child deserves hope. Every family deserves support.
This August, help us spread awareness, show compassion, and remind families facing childhood cancer that they are not alone.
🎗️ Together, we can provide support when families need it most.

🎗️ August is Appendix Cancer Awareness Month
This month, we’re raising awareness about appendix cancer and the importance of listening to your body, recognizing unusual symptoms, and seeking medical attention when something doesn’t feel right.
Symptoms to Watch For: Because signs often mimic other gastrointestinal or gynecological issues (like IBS, ovarian cysts, or regular appendicitis), diagnosis can be delayed.
Warning signs include:
Vague or sharp abdominal and pelvic pain
Bloating or increased abdominal girth (swelling)
Changes in bowel habits or persistent constipation
New-onset hernia or fluid buildup in the abdomen (ascites)
💛 Awareness can lead to earlier conversations, better understanding, and support for families facing cancer.
Share this post to help spread awareness.
