The U.S. Postal Service has announced the release of a commemorative stamp celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. Designed by USPS art director Antonio Alcalá, the stamp honors the academy's proud tradition of training future Coast Guard leaders at sea. It features the USCGC Eagle, the academy's iconic training vessel since 1946, alongside the USCGC Bertholf, the Coast Guard's first National Security Cutter.

Even better, you'll have the opportunity to purchase this special commemorative stamp during the Connecticut Maritime Heritage Festival on September 12 in New London, Connecticut!

We're honored to help celebrate 150 years of excellence at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and look forward to welcoming collectors, Coast Guard families, and maritime enthusiasts to this special event.
