Running Reel’s Up Guide Service is something I take seriously. Every trip I run is built around preparation, effort, and putting my clients in the best possible position to have a successful day on the water.

Before we ever leave the dock, I’m studying tides, wind, water temps, bait movement, moon phases—all of it. I’m talking with other captains, checking conditions, and making adjustments so when my clients step aboard, we’re not guessing. We’re going with a plan.

Once we’re out there, I’m locked in. If the bite changes, we change. If the fish slide deeper, we adjust. If birds start working a different edge, we move. I’m constantly watching the water and making decisions in real time to keep rods bent.

I take a lot of pride in how I run my trips. The boat is clean. The gear is dialed. Everything is rigged and ready. Whether we’re throwing topwater at breaking stripers, jigging structure, or grinding for a bigger class of fish, I’m right there coaching, encouraging, and working just as hard as my clients. In fact, one of my most frequent fishing partners today started out as a client on a random trip, and now he’s almost like family.

I don’t take anyone’s time or money lightly. When someone books a trip with me, that means something. I show up early, stay late if needed, and give every charter everything I’ve got. My name is attached to every trip I run, and I’m determined to make sure when you step off the boat, you feel like it was worth it.
