Often the question is “You make those marks with cups and gua sha?!” The answer is no. I can only bring to the surface what is already trapped in your tissue.

This is a beautiful example. The first 4 pics are of a moderate shoulder injury with pain and stiffness. The last 2 are the same shoulder with the same work 1 week later. There is very little left to detox so there are very minor markings. The best part is it also relieves the pain, increases the mobility and heals the tissue♥️.

While silicone cupping is magnificent for dynamic work they still hit the mark for stationary detox. Let’s read the marks…this coloring demonstrates newer stagnation (brighter red to pink) with the oldest in the center and immediately to the right and left (moving to darker red but not yet purple).

What exactly is a cupping mark? A cupping marks is not a bruise, but the physical outcome of pathogens, toxins, blockages and impurities (waste products) that are an undesirable presence in the body.
