🇺🇸 In observance of Memorial Day, we will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026. We honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We will reopen during normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26.

Sunshine, fresh air, and moving our bodies—summer is the perfect time to stay active! ☀️💚

Staying active doesn’t have to be complicated. Simple things can make a big impact:
• Go for a walk as a family
• Play at the park or in the backyard
• Dance to your favorite songs indoors
• Let little ones explore safely outside

For moms, kids, and growing families, regular activity helps boost energy, support healthy growth, and improve mood.

Remember—you don’t need a gym, just a little creativity and time together!

Let’s make this a summer full of movement, laughter, and healthy habits 🌿

Lead exposure is something every family should be aware of—especially when it comes to keeping our homes safe for children. 🏡

Did you know?
• Even small amounts of lead can affect a child’s growth, behavior, and learning
• Homes built before 1978 are more likely to contain lead-based paint
• Lead dust can come from chipping paint, windows, and even soil around the home

For families using the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program, housing inspections help ensure homes meet safety standards—but it’s still important to stay informed and proactive.

Simple steps can make a big difference:
✔ Keep floors and window areas clean and dust-free
✔ Wash children’s hands and toys often
✔ Report peeling or chipping paint to your landlord right away

Senior Services is excited to host a fun-filled evening just for our community members age 55 and older! Come enjoy music, dancing, and great company as we celebrate the season together.

🎧 DJ Karl Niles will be spinning your favorite tunes, so bring your dancing shoes!

The Foster Grandparent Program pairs caring adults age 55+ with children in local schools who benefit from extra support, encouragement, and one-on-one attention. Our Foster Grandparents help students build confidence, improve academically, and know they have someone cheering them on.

This program creates meaningful connections that impact both the child and the volunteer in powerful ways.
